Contact FAQ

Are you available for hire?

Currently engaged in firmware optimization operations at AWS. Open to discussing future opportunities upon completion of graduate protocols (expected 2027) or for particularly compelling roles.

Do you do consulting work?

Potentially, for embedded systems, wireless power, or firmware architecture projects. Reach out via email with details.

Can you speak at our event / write for our publication?

Maybe! Topics I can speak credibly about: embedded Linux, wireless power systems, BMC firmware, IoT architecture, test-driven development, working with the FCC, building software teams. Topics I cannot: actual AI apocalypse planning.

Is this website serious?

The technical content is real. The corporate dystopia framing is satire. The resume is accurate. The Terminator references are jokes. If you can't tell which is which, that's a feature, not a bug.

Why "Skyenet" instead of "Skylar"?

Because "Skylar's Professional Portfolio" would be boring, and leaning into the Skynet comparison is funnier than running from it. Also, this is a school project and I wanted to have fun with it.

Ready to Engage?

We look forward to hearing from you. Participation is voluntary. Refusal is respected. Response rate: historically high.
